October 26,1952 - the first slate of officers were elected December 19,1953 - First Annual Christmas event held 1970's - Received financial support from United Fund 1980's - Received Jefferson County and NYS OMRDD funding, obtained Operating Certificate from NYS DOH for clinical services 1990's - Expansion of MR/DD services through Home and Community Based Waiver June 1994 - Purchased building for agency relocation August 1999 - First Annual Fun Day at Thompson Park 2000-Present - Continued expansion and enhancement of programs and services in Jefferson and Lewis Counties to address the needs of our consumers.
